My Speckled Hatch is heavy on Mclean blood. The original broodstocks were obtained from Bill Baumgarner of TN. Through the years of breeding them, we infused a Harold Brown Speckled Mclean, a throwback from Harold’s Mclean line. They come mostly peacombs, occasionally a straight comb would show up. As stags the specks are not so pronounce, mostly showing on the breast and thigh parts. As they age, specks become more & more pronounce. They are deep cutting hatches, fight smart, and very game. They are good foundation Hatches, and generally would cross well to other breeds..
